LOOPTROOP ROCKERS PDF Print E-mail
- The pioneers of Scandinavian hip hop -

With the new album "Good Things", Looptroop Rockers continue to prove the fact that they are one of the most international hip hop bands on the map. World-class productions and rhymes, strong messages and a live experience only comparable to acts like Public Enemy and Rage Against the Machine.

As pioneers of the independent hip hop movement since 1992, they started releasing their own records and tapes on their owned label David vs. Goliath. After years of grinding the European tour circuit in Promoe's dad's motor hearse, the band released their debut album "Modern Day City Symphony" in 2000. After that there was no more doubt on who are the kings of the European underground hip hop in Europe.

Having shared tours with Xzibit and others on stages between the North Pole, Thailand and Australia, Looptroop Rockers are masters of bringing their unique sound, look and attitude to whatever stage they stand on.

The new album "Good Things" show many sides in the evolution and maturity of Looptroop Rockers - the ever broadening musical explorations of Embee and the continuous message laden lyrical depth of Promoe and Supreme. From tracks like "The Building" showing a new direction for the band, to tracks like "Ginger and Lemon" displaying the Looptroop roots, "Good Things" has the makings of yet another classic. It's still all about the beats, the melodies and above all the message.
